• Passing through Pančevo on February 10, 2019, I encountered a temporary stage prepared for a political rally titled “Future of Serbia.” The visual contrast between the official stage design — dominated by a large blue LED screen displaying an idyllic tropical landscape — and the improvised obituary notices taped to a tree in the foreground creates a striking and unintended commentary on the political and social moment.
