Product Description
During the mass protests against communism and the regime of Slobodan Milošević in 1991, demonstrators in Belgrade carried Serbian flags from which the communist red star had been cut out. The altered flags became a powerful visual symbol of political rupture — a rejection of communist ideology and an expression of popular opposition to the ruling system. The crowd gathered in the city center reflects the scale and intensity of public dissent during one of the most turbulent moments in Yugoslavia’s final years.
