Light and Shadows of the City

Last night, I tested an LPR (Light Pollution Reduction) filter on the lens of my drone. Its purpose is to reduce the impact of artificial lighting — to soften the orange tones, restore depth to the sky and calmness to the water, allowing the night to regain its natural balance.
In this photograph, that effect is clearly visible — the sky is cooler, the water more serene, the light under control.
But there are things no filter can soften.
In the foreground remains a scene that feels as if it has been imposed on the space without a sense of measure or context. A form that does not converse with the city, but interrupts it. As if being seen mattered more than belonging.
And at that point, the photograph ceases to be just a night view.
It becomes a record of a time in which space is often shaped without dialogue — and the consequences are left to all of us.
However, yesterday some good winds blew in from the north — and for the first time, I am almost certain that even this misfortune here will not last much longer.
