On one side — time layered over years: patina, scratches, the traces of hands that repaired, added, improvised. Lines not drawn to be beautiful, but to endure.

On the other — order, repetition, discipline. A new roof, precise like a template, without doubt and without error. Everything in its place, everything under control.

Between them — a shadow.
As if the old is still trying to explain itself to the new, and the new is no longer listening.

And the photograph remains there, right on the boundary — where you can still see how the city came into being, and already sense how it wants to appear.

Na jednoj strani — vreme koje se taložilo godinama: patina, ogrebotine, tragovi ruku koje su nešto popravljale, dodavale, snalazile se. Linije koje nisu crtane da budu lepe, već da traju.

Na drugoj — red, ponavljanje, disciplina. Novi krov, precizan kao šablon, bez dileme i bez greške. Sve na svom mestu, sve pod kontrolom.

Između njih — senka.
Kao da staro još uvek pokušava da objasni novo, a novo ga više ne sluša.

A fotografija ostaje tu, tačno na granici — gde se još uvek vidi kako je grad nastajao, a već se nazire kako želi da izgleda.
