RoZéO — between sky and water

In the project “Belgrade From Above”, the city is most often revealed through its structures — through rooftops, lines, and geometries that remain invisible from the ground.
But sometimes, above that architecture, something else appears — a moment when space ceases to be merely form and becomes a stage.
On the surface of water, between parallel lines that resemble drawing in space, a body rises above everyday life.
A thin, almost invisible point of support becomes a boundary between two worlds — between the stable and the fleeting, between ground and air.
Movement is slow, reduced to a minimum, almost imperceptible — like breathing.
Within that slowness, time expands.
A moment lasts longer than it should, and it is precisely in that extension that it gains meaning.
Seen from above, the scene loses its weight and turns into an image — a composition of colors, lines, and relationships.
The human figure becomes part of space, and space becomes part of movement.
This photograph was taken during the performance “RoZéO” at the Belgrade Dance Festival, at Tašmajdan Swimming Pool — a place where water, architecture, and the human body meet in a temporary yet complete visual composition.

Čovek postaje deo prostora, a prostor deo pokreta.
