Product Description
In August 1992, a large-scale exchange of war prisoners between Serbian and Croatian forces was carried out under the operation known as “All for All.” Near the village of Sarvaš, several buses containing Croatian prisoners were assembled prior to their transport to territory controlled by Croatian forces.
While awaiting the departure of the convoy, some prisoners were removed from the buses wrapped in blankets and carried toward a medical vehicle. This photograph captures one such moment: several men carrying a person in a blanket along the road, with military vehicles and armed personnel visible in the background.
The scene serves as a documentary record of one phase of the prisoner exchange process and reflects the physical condition of some individuals at the final stage of their captivity.
